Yes. We have Microsoft Front Page extensions installed on all servers. -

2. What are FrontPage server extensions? - Top
FrontPage extensions are CGI programs that provide the server side implementation of FrontPage. FrontPage communicates with the extensions via HTTP using a Remote Procedure Call (RPC). When the server sees the "POST" request addressed to the FrontPage server extensions it simply directs the request to the appropriate CGI program. The extensions implement authoring (uploading/downloading documents, ToDo lists), administration (setting end-user, author, and administrator privileges), and dynamic content (browse-time WebBot components). Without the FrontPage server extensions you will not be able to take advantage of the WebBots that are available through FrontPage. You also cannot author and administer your site using the tools provided as part of the FrontPage Editor/Explorer package.

3. What is a WebBot? - Top
WebBots are the mechanism for invoking many of the interactive features built into FrontPage. These features are added to your site through the FrontPage Editor | Insert WebBot component
Some, such as ''Include'' and ''Substitution'' allow elements of your site to be entered once and included in any or all of the pages by inserting the Bot component referencing that element (e.g., a logo or navigation bar). Changes made to the 'master' element are made automatically to any page containing the referencing Bot.
Other Bots, such as Search, Table of Contents and Timestamp, control dynamic browse-time features. These Bots work behind the scenes to keep your site up-to-date for visitors.

4. How do I get FrontPage server extensions installed? - Top
New Accounts: Check the box on the order form indicating that you want the FrontPage extensions. New domains that request FrontPage extensions when placing their order, will have the extensions installed within 24 hours.

Existing Accounts: To have the FrontPage server extensions installed on your existing site, email support @hostpartnerpro.com with the following information:
Your domain name
Your user ID
Account password
Your request for FrontPage extensions

In the virtual domains Frontpage drops in a .htaccess for every site. If you look at the .htaccess you will see:

You can remove the limit on POST.

7. How do I activate send forms in frontpage? - Top
By default, frontpage extension is configured to send forms. All you have to do is setup your forms in Front Page.

FrontPage Extensions are CGI programs which provide the server side implementation of frontPage. The extensions allow your local computer to properly communicate with your domain through the http protocol using (RPC).

9. Why does FrontPage seem to hang, and even time out when establishing a connection? - Top

There are a number of reasons why FrontPage hangs. The biggest reason is related to the amount of data in your WWW directory, both in size and number of files/directories. The more files/directories and size of data, the longer it will take FrontPage to log in. Large amounts of data (> 50MB) or a large number of files or directories ( > 500) can cause FrontPage to severely hang and even time out. If there are connectivity problems between your ISP and our servers, then this can also lead to FrontPage hanging or even timing out. When you have these problems we recommend creating a number of smaller subwebs to break your web site up so it does not take FrontPage as long to run through its configuration or recalculate links.

10. How do I publish with FrontPage? - Top
After you have built your web pages on your computer, you will be ready to publish them. Basically, this just means that you will upload them to our server. Once this is done, your pages will be viewable from the web. However, you must do this in the following manner.

Warning: FrontPage Account holders should never use FTP to transfer files as it can damage the FrontPage extensions.

Launch FrontPage Explorer and open the web you’ve created on your computer.

From the menu at the top of the window, select File, then Publish

A) If this is the first time you are publishing to our servers, select More Webs and enter the location you want to publish your FrontPage web to. (www.yourdomain.com) Hit Return (Enter) on your keyboard.
B) If you have published to our servers before, your "Destination Web Server" (www.yourdomain.com) will appear in the Publish window.

IMPORTANT: Use www.yourdomain.com as the Destination Web Server to publish to our server. Leave the "Destination Web Name" blank.

You will be asked for your USERNAME and PASSWORD. This is your domain's User ID and your FrontPage Password (which may be different from your regular Telnet/FTP/POP password). If you're not sure what it is or if you aren't allowed past this point, you will need to contact support for a new FrontPage password.

You can watch the progression of the upload by looking at the bottom left corner of FrontPage Explorer.
